War Against Hunger - Post Card Campaign - Hunger No More.Mayor Verner signs a city wide proclamation announcing the beginning of Hope for a world gripped in hunger and homelessness. Post Cards bear the "mark" of hidden treasures to help lead us through fear that is stealing our peace! Post Cards go on sale beginning August 21, 2010. Join us for the city wide "launching" of Hope, "Hunger No More" on the corner of Broadway and Nettleton.
Be blessed as we collectively work together to distribute "HUNGER NO MORE" postcards across our city to help fuel the vision. Call today to help distribute post cards in your neighborhood, school, or place of work. (509-710-2378). You too can help feed the hungry by printing out this poster and distributing it around Spokane. If you would like to submit your organization to the selection committee to be considered for funds to assist you in feeding the hungry. And now, for the very first time since its debut in the Bellingham Herald and Spokesman Review in 1999, the panther reflection picture of HOPE will be available for the world to enjoy as it is launched in post card format, as shown on the right. May God bless America as we join the children to help feed the hungry in body and spirit! See the complete story of the panther reflection at Still Waters Creations. If you would like to submit your organization to the selection committee to be considered for funds to assist you in feeding the hungry please fill out our Application.
May the dollars that bear witness to Who holds the key
to hunger, become our source of Hope as we serve one another
with LOVE! Reverie Island holds the reflection of the Panther/lion snapshot taken with a disposable camera on October 28, 1995. The picture hung on the refrigerator for 3 years before it fell to the floor revealing the hidden image that has been called one of the the most miraculous displays of God's creation in nature. Reverie Island at Camp Firwood is a Christian camp on Lake Whatcom in Bellingham, WA.
