War Against Hunger - Post Card Campaign - Hunger No More. The face of hunger is penetrating our world. As the price of gasoline escalates so does the price of food. Everyday people in Spokane make impossible choices having to choose between medicine, heat, or putting a roof over their heads instead of buying food. People with empty cupboards are now finding that even the food bank cupboards are empty. Far too often the surplus food in restaurants and grocery stores has been tossed into the garbage because it is too expensive to drive the trucks to the shelters and food banks.HOPE seems to be fleeting. Until NOW!Hunger No More has been formed to help feed the hungry of Spokane by placing postcards in local grocery stores encouraging people to donate funds for the Hungry of Spokane.Be blessed as we collectively distribute HUNGER NO MORE postcards across our city to help fuel the vehicles to carry the food through the neighborhoods. Call today to help distribute the post cards (509-710-2378). You can also help feed the hungry by printing out this poster and distributing it around Spokane. If you would like to submit your organization to the selection committee to be considered for funds to assist you in feeding the hungry please fill out our Application.
And now, for the very first time
since its debut in the Bellingham Herald and Spokesman Review in
1998, the panther reflection picture of HOPE beside the Still waters
will be available for the world to enjoy as it is launched in post
card format, as shown on the right, to raise resources to help feed
the hungry in body and spirit! See the complete story of the panther reflection

May the dollars that bear witness to Who holds the key
to hunger, become our source of Hope as we serve one another
with LOVE!
Reverie Island holds the reflection of the Panther/lion snapshot taken with a disposable camera on October 28, 1995. The picture hung on the refrigerator for 3 years before it fell to the floor revealing the hidden image that has been called one of the the most miraculous displays of God's creation in nature. Reverie Island at Camp Firwood is a Christian camp on Lake Whatcom in Bellingham, WA.
